Do you know what it is To love a Grandfather? To kiss his cheek... Sit on his lap and steal bites of his eggs Listen to him read Dr. Seuss books to you? Do you know what it is to hate a Mother? To want to kill her? Make her suffer? And then to regain the love and trust... and not even know until it's too late? Do you know what it is to be Daddy's little girl? Spoiled rotten, His little princess.... Whatever you wanted was instantly yours. Do you know how to ruin it all? Do you know what it's like to be a slave? And your "Best Friend" Is the slave driver? And you do what she says, Because you're afraid? Do you know what it's like to run away? Do you know what it is to truly hate? Do you know Gramdpa had a heart attack? After I left....... Do you know Daddy's done drugs all his life, drank himself sick? And as he's at death's door, I left him. Do you know Mom's using money she doesn't have on a detective? All to find me.... Do you know it's all my fault? |
