Feelings of deceit on my lips Hopeless defeat captures in a kiss Silent times full of guilt trips Cuz certain needs were still missed No one's watching, so no one should know Guilty conscience my only fatal foe Lost a battle of will to say no Mind thrown to down to an ultimate low No where to hide now the truth's been shed The dark painful path I must tread Crying over broken hearts bled Black soul lying on it's death bed Strength to get through this Hope for one last wish To forgive this weakness And look to the heart of this. ------------------ "If to rectify your demeanor, You must imitate another, Your philosiphy on morality Is a burden on your mentality, Your actions based on popularity, Will never fulfill you internally, Cuz the world was not blessed with equality, But rather with fake geniality. --823-- |

Very nice work. I like reading a poem that leaves a lot to the reader's mind to interpret, and this one does. Nothing is clear about whatever incident this person is talking about except the pure feelings and thoughts the person was thinking/feeling. I like this one a lot. |
