Are all men scared of relationships? Or am I just the (un)lucky one that seems to find every one of them??? |

No, not all men are afraid of the "R" word... if it seems like we are gun-shy, then there is a possibility that some have been made that way due to their last "R" word. Many women (and no, I don't mean all) tend to become so friggin' flaky and change into the stereotype that men just plain choose not to get into that situation with anyone again... especially when they can get the benefits without the challenges. Men are built differently from women. For all the equality we strive for, it's just a plain fact that we're built differently. Mind you, I'm not saying "better", just different. Among those differences is often the view on the "R" word. (And if they're telling you otherwise, it may just be because that's what they think you want to hear...  )FWIW, my own views on the "R" word have changed with every passing year.  |

I think there are a few key points.... Men have enough trouble communicating with their own kind...and for many, trying to communicate to a woman in a language that isn't frightening to them (men) is sometimes difficult. When they are young, there is about one thing that is always foremost on their mind. As they mature, with a little luck, they start seeing a woman for who... I repeat who....she is. Once they can do that, they are far more capable of being able to sustain a relationship. Being able to be honest, not put up a false image of oneself....and being patient and being capable of listening, and listening even more....help immensely.... Beauty does not necessarily lie just on the skin of a person. There are many beautiful people that are far less than Ms. America or some Greek God.... Just be yourself and above all be confident that you have the ability to be desired as a person and become a part of a relationship....Just be you and have faith.... Good Luck... |

You're a fox...Will you marry me?..Do you make enough money to support both of us?....I don't eat much?..(Food that is)...and, I'm real handy around the bedroom?...and..and, I can give ya a Porsche?..and, and, I can write awful poetry and if nothing else, can keep ya laughing...???..(especially in the bedroom)...and I run errands and pick out wonderful negligees and whatever your heart desires and...............okay, what the hell, I'll go all out....I'll even go shopping with ya at Walmart.... |

Hm, question of the century, this..My guess after many years of experiences, some good, most bad..its almost hopeless, but not quite. There are a few men who will really go there with you, they are just hard to find.. Sandra |
