Etched in the illusion of time

0 posted 2003-01-16 12:05 PM

hey! I'm IndigoEve.....14 years old and a freshman in highschool.....writing is my passion, expecially poetry. I write every day, and I have recently gotten one of mine published. i have over 105 poems already written, and more coming by the day. I always get inspired.

I was just looking for poetry forums the other day, happened across this one, and thought i'd try it out. i hope i've come to the right place.

You most likely have IndigoEve..nice to meet you...

As I'm not sure where you've been looking around just like to point you in the direction of the Teen forum where you'll fit right in. And the Open Poetry forum...of course, feel free to post in any forum though.

Oh, just a hint - give the site guidelines a read through before you start posting your work...

See you around passions - it's a second home to many so I'm sure you'll be welcomed..

K

Welcome to Passions, IndigoEve.  You most certainly have found a home for poets, one that is warm, inviting, friendly, and caring.  There are many rooms, and as Severn pointed out, you might want to join up with the Teens in their Forum, but Open, the Corner Pub, Spiritual, all have something to offer to folks of any age...

Of course you found our discussion area as well.

So, sit back, relax, read, enjoy...and above all...

You've definitely come to the right place.  There's no poetry forum like this one, trust me... I found it the same way you did, and two years later, I've grown so much as a result of becoming a member of this community.

If you are truly interested in developing your technique, learning about poetry and enjoying/critiquing the poetry of people with the same aims as you have... then you will feel right at home here.

Welcome to Passions in Poetry.

Really? But you're so...amazing!

I've been here awhile, but now I'm under a new name. (The old one was 'Crysania'.) See, I have horrible writer's block...I thoguht a new name might help, but it isn't...*sighs* I luv your challenges btw, Wind.

over 100?  good lord,  I'm so jealous of people like you.  I'm 21, started writing when I was 18 or 19 and have under 30.  You must be flowing with creativity, I look forward to reading all of your poems, and indeed; you have come to the right place.

Whoo! hiya! I'm fourteen too and it's nice having people around your age sharing the love of writing poetry. Over a hundred posts and I still feel like a newbie since there are still many, many wonderful surprises of Pip I haven't yet delved into. I really want to see the Sanctuary, for instance, and see the masterpieces of some 'veterans'. I hope you enjoy your stay and remain long enough to discover the hidden surprises with me, =).

Wow! Everyone's so friendly here! Thank you all for the lovely welcome. Hehe. I turned 15 in April, so not everything's the same with me. Since January, I now have 302 poems...You might say I'll be living here a bit more often, eh? See you all around!

And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.--"Romeo and Juliet"
