Any time a guy comes near me with nice words and a smile... fake promises... I fall for him. When will I learn that I'm better off without men? All they do is hurt me... that's all they ever do... and I let them...

i use to be the same way..somehow i did learn...but all the heartache i experienced turned my heart cold towards most people and i no longer trust anyone. dont give up hope though, one of them will turn out to be sincere. i found one

I had one bad experience with a guy several years ago and I still have trouble trusting men, even though I have one of the best ones in the world right now. Being confident in myself has helped me a lot though. The more I realized that I would be okay without any men, the better my relationships with them became..strange, eh? Makes sense though, I suppose...if you love yourself first, it makes trusting and loving others easier.

You just need to walk around in a big pair of butt-kicker boots. I bet you won't have'em walking up to you anymore.
