You`re Watching Him

He`s grown into such a handsome young man
And it breaks my heart in two
If you could watch him I feel you can
See his life change so new
Married now and doing well
with a daughter and a son
You`re watching him I know you are
~Cause you were the only one
That helped give him life
when he was born
Except with the help from me
So early on that cold March morn
God gave him to you and me
You left us here all alone
As we cried and prayed for you
That you`d reach Heavens` Gates of pearly white
And start your life anew
We think of you so often
You`re on our minds even way up there
Wished you could`ve been here
When he bowed his head in prayer
"God bless Daddy" for I know you heard
him talking to only you
And if you could I know you would
made all his dreams come true
So as you watch him from up above
Send down a sign to me
Show me how to share his love
As this was meant to be
You`re watching him I know you are
through each passing day
And if you could I know you would
visit him in a special way.

Again...another well written poem. I am sorry for your losses.
