........Mud slinging that's been going on lately! And no, I have not been attacked, at least not as of yet!  Just an observation I've made in the last 15 minutes of my return to PIP. I will never understand why people have to ride around with a "high & mighty" attitude and slam on others. To me, that's just out of line, unless of course one actually deserves it. I can only figure that these "high & mighty's" are so insecure with them selves that they have to ridicule others. That, or they truly have no heart or compassion for anyone but them selves. No matter the cause, I'm truly saddened to see all the ridiculing and mud slinging that's flying around this joint. Ok, well, I guess I feel a little better now.... Thanks for listening! |

HERE? you're kidding... i haven't seen any at all... this is the friendliest place on the web... i mean, you can post at other boards and people actually call you names and make fun of your work and stuff like that... that's why i stay here!! please, say this is just a joke! maybe you're talking about the new recently added feature where poets can ask for "constructive critique" in other forums other than CA? geez... of course i don't have time to read ALL the posts, so maybe i've missed something... i sure hope there really isn't any personal slamming going on around here because that is not in keeping with the atmosphere here and is against ron's rules... ... hope you've misunderstood something!  |

The only mud I've been slinging is at the guy I live with! (I consider it my perogative too...and? I think he even prefer that I say what I have to say poetically...although I must say my phrasing toward him IS infinitely more colorful!) And? sometimes I've been misunderstood to the point where one nice lady thought I was casting "spells" on her!  So...I am with the confused here. But Doreen is right...won't name the other forums...but beware, it's vicious out there! Good to see you back Irie! Just stocked up on "eye patches" too! |

Nope, not a joke at all. I came back from a short vacation and it just so happened the first four or five threads I read, people were, or seemed to be very uptight and attacking each other. Not just in open but in some of the discussions as well. At any rate, I haven't seen much more after I posted this. Serenity, you crack me up. Took me a minute to figure out what the "eye patches" were all about!
