Your country is making everyone proud. Be Proud! and be Happy! Look at what you are doing...and know that we rejoice in your achievements of hosting the Olympics! I didn't know of another Forum where I might put this...but all of Australia, and Sydney in particular, should be proud of this year. Congratulations, our friends, on a job well done! I wish I could be there to enjoy the spectacle of the Olympics with you! |

I'm watching the Opening Ceremonies right now from Sydney. . . what a spectacle!!! Australia is to be proud. . . I never knew that Australia has only had a National Anthem since 1984, "Advance Australia Fair". . . truly stirring. . . And what a beautiful city Sydney is. . . makes me wish that I was there. . . ~Oh, I tell ya, I am so very proud to be an Australian. The emotions ripped through me watching the first day of the Olympics. And the opening ceremony??..Oh it cant get any better than that..So before I start rambling Congratulations to all who have done well on this special day. And best wishes to all countries.
