Hey everyone, I just joined this website and it looks like a very nice place. This is my first time using a forum or even looking at one. The reason why I joined is so see if I do write poetry. I also do like to look at others work to get inspiration and to feel the feeling of the author. I'll say this, I have been going through a harder time in my life which helps me to write. Ill admit not much of my work is happy. I would love to know what others have to think or if i should stop haha. Well here goes my most recent work that I have done. Why do you leave me here to contradict what has happened. Im angry at you! I want to yell and scream because you left me! No knowledge to what has happened! When your not here the hurt builds inside. It comes out little each day with tears i cry. You wanted me to be happy, and i tried. I feel anger but the guilt is 10 times worse. This is not your fault. You can not help what has happened. I should not be mad at you. Even through all these emotions that reoccur, they all tell me one thing. I love you David. What do you think? Thank you  Talyn. |

Becasue I don't write free style poetry, I really can't comment on that aspect, but I did enjoy reading this because it really is from the heart. That, to me, is good poetry. Welcome to this great family of friends! Rae |
