Captivation Once I saw you I said to myself “Whoa who is that!?” I was captivated… I thought I must’ve hallucinated; My legs vibrated and I hyperventilated. I blushed; I was humiliated… I slid away; slowly I faded. My path to you was gated… Your friends stood by so close I could only make inspections; For my resentment towards rejection and the expectation of the hall bringing their attention to me show my affection. I got to admit… I fled and went to my connection. You can be intimidating I must admit with Your friends around and your popularity; I hope my wrongful choice doesn’t bring my chances to an end. I didn’t want to offend, I just wanted to let you know how I feel instead of leaving it on the shelf… I’m sorry I can’t come out and reveal myself… Well I guess I can only pray that you aren’t already with someone else… |
