5481 The Ugly Me 20 June 2006 So at last you get to see this glimpse and view of the ugly me All eyes untold, that truth within at last you finally see, this grin The smile that looks back those words we do share Finally that moment has come the one that shows all in ways fair With age against that word called love yet all to bond in such grace Today you look beyond and truly see that face So at last you get to see this glimpse and view of the ugly me The person who thinks of you in kind finally that day has arrived, in this beauty to find “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:” Revelation 2: 26 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

With age against that word called love yet all to bond in such grace Today you look beyond and truly see that face So at last you get to see this glimpse and view of the ugly me The person who thinks of you in kind finally that day has arrived, in this beauty to find all of life's children are beautiful... in a space all of their own... inventing our next moment, for each of us all to own... and so, thank you for the beauty of your heart, soul and mind...and the messages you so lovingly ring out... |
