Thank you Sunshine for not calling me "Sir' At first I began with the title of 'for Martie', then I changed that to decide upon 'Garden of Michelle', before the poem was complete However the poem is about (for) Martie My poem was written in part as to a few hours ago only I added this last line, moments before posting my works here, that final touch all in being needed Of a weaving wind, cotton engraved each thread her own in given moderation Then I hope with Martie's permission I can share these words of my yesterday In a message dated 4/23/2006 4:45:24 PM Pacific Daylight Time, Christopher writes: As for this topic - I think I have said all I need to say, and I am not going to conclude anything about why I feel as times, I am filtering the spirit of dead people in my poetry - I can never know if that was true, and do not want to say it was true , one way or the other. Given the true events of the last 12 months of my life,. It would appear that that is what you are doing. I envy you that...especially where Michelle is concerned. Thanks for explaining. 5345 Martha’s Psalm 26 April 2006 Still loving, still crying just waiting, another morning to come For were was ascertain a cover over truth this was love at its highest Another rest, another night a sentence made to be free Where was spirit, heart stood in step foundations laid, amour cemented to being Meaning what, much to care in ways forth rambles of a poet, malcontent to live life - she was all there was, God darn it, live Know your mercy was in good hands this creativity, heaven was to want Holy spirit within, a voice to speak whisper sweet nothings - nothing more to give “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, . . . I am persuaded that in thee also.” 2 Timothy 1: 5 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
