I pressed my face against the screen door and watched the children play and wished for a wish that would take away the years and allow me to run outside slamming that screen door shut shouting "I got first base" instead I am reminded of glimpses through screen doors as the little one runs outside screaming "homeworks done, see you at nine!" |

Go for it, fling those doors open. I would and do and Im 34. Maybe you should get a dog. People go bananas when they have a dog prancing around and so on but it always seems socially acceptable. Or is it just me? lol. Very charming poem. |

Nice work Jason.. the screen alowing you to see out, but keeping you in, away from the things you would like to do as you remember... the invisible barriers we or time build for us... I'd say you met the challenge well... bravo! |

What Cpat said? I would have said it first if I hadn't fixed supper... Very nice, Jason. You nailed it. |

My favorite screen doors were at my grandparents. Thanks for the recall. Now I may have to go write another . . . |
