I could see the pain in his eyes Though he looked not at me Lost in my own little world As he, there to himself, was also lost His cigarette burned, ashes, to his fingers Yet he noticed not Absent-mindedly sipping his coffee Cold for gone this past hour What was his story The thoughts held in his mind Was he even thinking at all Or was this just another stop he made He looked to be in sales Another hour, another house Was it a yes... did she say no Does the world turn yet again While he sits there staring Eyes unseeing naught Save the void that is his life And, finally, deciding Crushes the empty cup And shlumps his way towards his next pay We are all equal but we’re individually different |

Now, Brad, you know that I'm one of those peole that worries about everybody's problems. You wrote this so well, that I could actually see this man... now you've gone and got me worrying about his problems Hugs Ethel |

Perfection you... you've hit the bull's eye with this, Ringo. Excellent images and you got right to the heart of this gentleman and showed YOUR heart as well. Warmest hugs, you. GREAT JOB. |
