agnus dei, qui tollis peccata mundi miserere nobis sip taste the water of memory open your mind and enter the dreaming fear not the thoughts lost to darkness now brought into the light revealing the secrets of being and spirit drink taste the water of memory wretch not at the bitterness of a clear liquid (now red) take your fill and empty the cup then, set it down for the next (when the next) panis vitae, qui tollis peccata mundi miserere nobis bite taste the bread of pure thought close your eyes and enter the dreaming watch what happens when the light pierces the flesh and the darkness screams (your darkness) Eternity at your fingertips eat taste the bread of pure thought catch the seed between your teeth and wonder at the taste of it (something like mustard) take your fill and halve the loaf setting it down to be halved by the next (this next) calix vitae, qui tollis peccata mundi miserere nobis shattered pieces like stars flung across the heavens too many to count, too small to find shining memories (as if darkness could shine) revealed to a world far too young to know or understand save for those who know the words the sacrifice of life given for knowledge the body atrophied to the mind movement by thought movement of thought (food for thought) thought now becomes the body the body vanishes rex pacis, qui tollis peccata mundi miserere nobis the mind remains lost in lifelight sailing the astral streams in search of following the signs and seeking the answers growing and becoming wondering just how to begin for the first time and knowing how to begin again the openings found through trial and error and the learning known through the lessons taught by the seekers learned by the followers broken and poured out ready to be made whole again when life is ready to be renewed when the body is ready to be born when the mind is ready to enter blood and body together come take let us begin agnus dei, qui tollis peccata mundi Dona Nobis Pacem ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. Did I mention how it annoys me when your work falls to the bottom? How the hell did you get down here anyways? "two hearts will build the foundation for one point of light |

I just got chills.... I read thru this one last night and thought it warrented chasing down the other 2 parts of this series for a good read all the way thru. What an incredible write!!! I loved the way you referenced the Latin to your life's walk.... and even that is an understatement because you have more than alluded to the belief that life doesn't end at death or begin with birth and have demonstrated this well in your poetry here. A faith walking with the Master and faith that existance is eternal. This is a rich well done, extraordinary work. I am placing a reference here to all who come after me that they may read the other two parts of this tapestry you have woven here. Love, Light and Peace, Sherry Gardner Pilgrim part 1 and Pilgrim part 2 Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow. But above all... be kind to yourself today.
