do you sleep well in the arms of summer knowing very well that it still is winter in other parts of the land for someone else who might have or might not have meant something to you you know, warmth and cold are just extremes there are millions in between fighting to ever improve their social status by climbing up the ladder by saving one more coin than that was saved, the night before do you realize? we all pay in strange currencies some with fame, others with shame some with glee, others with pain some with some, others with none do we realize? that this is slow man’s land where the whole lot seem to be too slow to grow and those who find speed sky rocket their way fast and furious towards the power of control over the rest of them on slow man’s land loose change to the fast is a lottery to the slow no wonder, there are many lotteries to be won in slow man’s land |

Sudhir, it seems all life is a gamble but if we are wise it could be a gambol. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

BRAVO!!! Yes, yes, and life is indeed a game of russian roulette but if we play our cards in accord to the heart, we won't fall! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! we all pay in strange currencies and..."whew..." Sudhir sizzles! You are a fountainhead of wisdom, m'friend. Every time I read you...I swear to behave and do yoga! (sometimes? I even bribe myself by thinking of the flexibility!) You do amaze me, and I am so enjoying the differences of perspective one simple phrase can evoke. And...ahem...speaking of phrases? May I ask, if we borrow the term "strange currency/ies" for another challenge? If you prefer not, I understand--I'm just having a good time, and well, I'm not known to "settle for one." Wonderful work...to be expected from a wonderful poet! |

Sir ... you are on fire in this one and I am enjoying reading your wisdom again. You have always portrayed a mind that never stops to rest in your writes and this one is packed with much to consume. Excellent penning one to reinforce why your works are so appreciated and admired. Saving this one to my library. |
