The structure is of liquid. Hot, slick, and bitter. It's full of hurt, pain, and loss. It can't be given or taken away. It just fades. It falls in rolls, burning and sticky. It forms quickly and falling just as fast. Clear, sleak, and shiny, it leaves a trail as it grows smaller towards its destination. And, like acid, these tears won't be forgotten, only hidden in the cause of their falling. Don't hold back the words you really mean. |
