Received this from Toerag's son (Licketysplit).. Hello, I dont know any of you but needed to send this to all. My father has had a seizure and there is no prognosis good or bad at this time. We found him this morning in a pool of blood from his ear and unresponsive. If you are a friend of my father please say a prayer for him as we are strong believers and we know prayer works. If you are a customer of Ashekickingklassics I will still conduct business as usual at our regular email address: [email protected] If you are an enemy of his that he has left your email on his address book so he can harass you at his will, please seek vengeance later and I know my father would oblige. For those of you that don't know my dad personally, I can assure you he will be fine. He is a tough old coot and with the exception of those damn cigarettes has taken very good care of himself. He survived a few tough tours in the military with few scars and has endured well raising me which was a miracle in itself. If you know of anyone else I should contact that is not on this email list please forward to the above email address. Other than that, I will try to keep anyone interested informed of his condition. Again I want to stress to you, his friends, I know my dad, and I know with his meaness and God's help he will be fine. Thanks, Scott Ashe Jr. If that meathead doesn't get through this I'm gonna kill him!! Please include Toe in your prayers...I'll be praying twice as hard, believe me.. |

Thank you, Michael for sharing his son's message. Toe will be in my prayers and thoughts and even though we joke around with him here at Passions, I know what a good person he is, in heart, and I care. God be with you Toe!! |

Aha.....I've just seen in Suthern gal's poem that Toe is recuperating and trying to escape from the hospital... Kindly disregard any kind words I may have said....and don't tell HIM!!!  |

Thanks for passing on the information Deer. Being an atheist I don’t normally pray but I’m willing to give it a shot in this case working on the premise that it can’t do any harm and from where I am it’s about the only thing I can do. |

Toe, To paraphrase what you have said to me in the past, "Only the good die young, so it looks like I'll be around for a long time yet to come!"---I'll keep that thought, my deer friend--whoops! I meant to say my "dear" friend. For a moment there, I had gotten you confused with the Ballsy One. Now, to you my "deer" friend--yes, you Michael, when Toe is back up to snuff, he'll give you a big bear hug for this thoughtful gesture--then he'll punch your lights out! Well Toe. Hope today is a better day for you. Now when you are a layin' in that thar hospital bed. You can think of all the badness you are going to write about your buddies. You can come up with new stories about your hospital stay. But like I said in another note DON'T pinch the nurses cause they have needles and catheters. Oh!MY! Treat them with high respect until you are about to walk out the door then pinch that nursie. LOL. Hope everything is going well and you are up and about in no time. Dear friends....I do not have cancer....I do have a tumor that is growing at an alarming rate....(I think it's about twice the size of a pea, which means my brain has almost doubled in size)....I still don't know if it's operable or treatable yet, but will let everyone know when I know.).....I do thank each of you for your well wishes and concerns and will keep you all informed or Suthern or Balladeer will let you know...thanks...Scott...Buzz..Toe...and whatever some of the rest of you call me... |
