Golden yellow the flowers
That crown the lawns
Offering hope to everyone

Great hawks gyre
With outspread wings
Proud unconquerable oriflammes

And who are the heroes
Off to rescue their cherished loves
That ride as steeds these snowy clouds
Above an azure sea

In my opinion, this is another particularly exceptional 'write!'

[I can't pick out a 'favorite part'...I'd have to hi-lite the entire 'penning'!]

was given to me.

I think it best for me
not to try and manufacture beauty
but merely to wait until it arrives and then
