Conversion "Once upon a midnight dreary" the cause was desperation to avert the desolation of the blackening December The hard fate could be avoided with celebration all the night in beseech for return of light like an ember fanned by the wind Villagers across the landscape paid due homage to the solstice and gathered as if a poultice on the bleeding wound of winter In every pagan ritual was found such conversion premise and this had the greatest promise for stealing the high holy day ~glider~ |

Roses go by many names and all of them are sweet. Thank you for wandering into the light. |

This is a fine 'write!'... I am particularly fond of the ending: "Villagers across the landscape paid due homage to the solstice and gathered as if a poultice on the bleeding wound of winter In every pagan ritual was found such conversion premise and this had the greatest promise for stealing the high holy day" serious applause! P.S. you chose a grand UserName too! [I hope you are able to glide above and/or wander through the fine blue sands of "P.I.P.-land" more often?!] |

With so much..."moon, june, spoon" out there, I was very impressed with your truly impressive poetry devices. It is refreshingly deep and a joy to read. Your rhymes are individual and you have made them your own..soo thoughtful of you. All the darkness in the universe cannot extinguish the light of a single, burning candle. |
