The Crocodile Man from Australia
Has tragically lost his life
Leaving behind his family Bindi, Bob and Terri his wife.

He was the idol here for many
He dared to do what we all would dread
And Bravery stood by his side.
He’s just another man filled with Aussie pride

The angels have carried him home now
There god stands right beside him
Promising him that he will always be safe
Because here in heaven is his final resting place

So spare a thought for the family of Steve Erwin
For they have lost a loved one
The tears Australia cries today is all for one very special man
The man from Australia Zoo
Where the crocs will miss him with all their might
And it’s now we hear him whispering from the skies exceeding this earth
“Crikey mate a stingray got me, but it’ll be alright.

Steve if you are out there listening, Thanx for the terrific memories mate!
I know that Australia doesn’t need to worry about you because you are up there with god.

My thoughts go out to Steve’s beautiful family Bindi, Bob and Terri.
Don’t dwell on this tragedy for too long because Steve is up their watching over every single one of you, he is the tear in your eye, the breeze in your hair and the spirit that brushes past you when you don’t think you can go on much longer. All of Australia is here for you all you need to do is ask for our help.

Rest In Peace Steve……..

Wouldn't it be a lovely gesture to be able to give this to his family when you have the PIP poets sign.

REST IN PEACE
Dear Mr. Croc Man
Your humor will be missed
Your sunny personality
beaming into our homes.
Yes!
You will be dearly missed.

Hugs BonBon

A beautiful tribute to a great humanitarian, that was idolized by so many children, and adults alike.  I will miss him that is for sure.

Steve was always more interested in showing off the capabilities of an insect, snake or animal than showing his own incredible adeptness. I'll always remember that about him.  He had to be right in his heart with God, to be comfortable in the dangerous work he loved.

Yes, Steve's legacy spread all over the world. While his family should be sad, they should be filled with more pride than any sorrow that could ever be felt. He died a great man, and he died doing what he loved.

~Poetry occurs when the heart, mind and soul combine to produce sweet words, which in turn, heal the hearts, minds and souls of others~
