Upon These Paths We Take While still hurting from a breakup I talked to some believers of Buddha of my suffering. They could sympathize with my pain, but they couldn't understand why I had allowed myself to grow so attached to her. Seems like these were lessons of happiness and suffering that they had already learned. Upon these paths we take there will always be enough to suffer for, without bringing more suffering upon ourselves. JamesLee 05October 2006 Buddha means awakened |

Gonna send this to my son...the elightenment herein will fit in nicely with the upset his life's path has taken - even better than the heart to heart guidance of his father. Kids (he's twenty-four but in the heart of a parent always 'kids") never fully perceive their parents could have faced anything remotely similar to their own bumps and stumbles. I think I've told him essentially the same thing but. . . those were my words, a parents words...not the ageless impressions of a peer. Thanks for this bit of 'insight' I can pass along from one other than myself. well stated/written... jwesley |
