Terra Cotta Scramble Run down the bricks of attention time takes just a minute The wind has taken over the clouds whisked trails of milk there Cool walk of good dog sniffer long sleeves have come Squirrel the noise of trees lip sink rustle Cotton underclothes and jeans litter the sidewalk sway Bring the kitty close and warm the hand with purr I am loaded with purple and the dredge of time The terra cotta is scrambled a patina making cement sudden art The breeze comes gently now the thought of your hands comes too And the blue blue sky [This message has been edited by Martie (10-05-2006 04:32 PM).] |

The wind has taken over the clouds whisked trails of milk there I was watching those very clouds, and they gave me that exact thought....you show them brilliantly here.....and oh, what the evening sun and near-full moonbeams did to them just at sundown! The pace of this, yes, it's like a walk, with a beautiful and insightful lady to help me see it as she does. Speaking of which, I do like that new picture! ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> ______________Ratleader______________ |

I sometimes wonder if your eyes actually do see colors that ordinary eyes do not, and if you could somehow show them to us in the way you show us feelings we had in even the most ordinary of circumstances, but didn't recognize until you put them into words. |

The terra cotta is scrambled a patina making cement sudden art I love your creativity in writing and imagery. Your artistry is quite evident! You have masterfully painted an Autumn scene! Think I'm going to run away with this to my library. I could easily fall within the painting of this--kind of like the scene in Mary Poppins where Dick Van Dyke is painting on the sidewalk... Wow! misc |

Thanks so much for the replies...it was just an ordinary walk, but is there such a thing? Misce, I have a photo of it...if you send me your email address I'll send it to you. |

Martie, the patina on clay is my favorite thing to "look into" as it is art, and you say this well. |

I missed this one until now but what a lovely walk you take us on, Martie. To see as you see is a beautiful gift to us all - thank you! |
