To frame a face its shape tells the cut to follow refreshed look with familiar eyes snippet here and there closer cut now fair weather peeks a load is lightened twigs loosened, fall scrawny wood additions to fall compost foreheads breathe between larger limbs linen wraps catch locks curls and loose hairs bangs bend forward precise snippet newspaper edge reveals reveals yet another coiffure she stands on high heels brushes away residues a reflection meets her eyes closer look now mastery of a new self and a voice says no to cracked mirrors today "I have a trimmed look, only one eye has to show". |
