We All Need To Split |

It was the family business working in the sewers, spearing dead fish, and canning them for third world countries. Otherwise they spent their time scraping what needed to be scraped, and flushing what needed to be flushed. One day while elbow deep in foam and filth, Elmo turned to his brother and asked, "why do we put up with this crap?" Elrod shrugged and flushed and speared, all the while thinking the thing over. Finally he answered "I don't know, let's split". And so they did. They split their shells and morphed into beautiful silver butterflies that glistened as they flew into the morning sunshine. |

after 11 years of being in a rut, thinking I'd never leave...I did moved to Kansas, got a new job, a new place to live, starting my life completely brand new it does feel so good to say "Let's split" and do it |

Yer a strange man, dingus.....and it's a strange and wonderful thing, this poem. I would never have thought of this in a hundred years!
