Only a moment, a mere grain compared To the mountainous spire that stands In advance of hunger’s ache in mist laden dreams. Eternities lie unmoved, awaiting dawn’s rise as Moonbeams paint the evening skies and Crickets scratch a vigilant tune in harmonious accord Waiting, stoic, still and hushed, with An inclination toward the succulent Savored taste of pristine and delicate lips, a devilish apparition awakens a slumbering rogue in wait of a midnight soiree. And as the night glows softly, a scent Shall waft and weave, bring to mind A moment, only a moment when a Mere grain compared meekly to a Mountainous spire and hunger’s ache Stood stoic and still in wait of mist laden dreams. |
