Dancing stepping springing sprit Awakening life from hibernation, Fresh air breezing in that open mind, Poetic words growing blossoms. Bubbling brook of last nights gentle rain, Hypnotic drizzle of hearing you breathe Upon a melody of lungs loving you more, Watching fingers holding me close ‘n tight. Window colors spouting sunrise wildflowers. Enlightened fragrant perfumed bouquet, Love of holding you so close, so tender. Smiling, going outside barefoot to dance. Spring green of that rejuvenated floor That feeling floating hair swinging free. Singing verse seeding billowing clouds On power blue towering ecstatic desires. Sweetheart take one higher, infatuate one With a kiss arousing, this blessed union That weathers winter, only to find spring, Where one renews a vow dancing together. Immersing feet among cool refreshment, Chilly baptism of the ever-growing devotion, Goose bumps of your fingers sensual touch, Caressing among lovebirds cooing melody. Melting mind on sunshine dancing shadows, Budding trees snow of velvety blankets, Rose-colored petals of laying you down, Watching your bosom hear one’s words. That springs to life every morning Dancing with passion within your eyes. David L. Young 09/29/06 © De-Terminated poet, somewhere in America not on company time |
