swept up by a broom made of peacock feathers teal and crimson mixed in with bits of heart and soul so gentle the motion no bruising of devotion so to hold on to the hope that you won’t let me go I gave you my dreams then later my words I gave you my fears but kept back one or two hid away the darkest truth from the flame of your eyes the one fear where I was to lose you too so just where do I find filament of filigree thread of gossamer strong to bind you to me so how do I ask when all words are muted please don’t go on without me [This message has been edited by seraphin (09-29-2006 12:55 PM).] |

seraphin A feather is free....peacocks color so much of me....and to hold on is to lose something beautiful. You've captured a feeling here so beautifully. |

Midnightsun and I agree....the title should be "filament of filigree" - - thought I'd be the first to suggest it but, should have known.... enjoyed.. j. |

Thank you all. I have taken your suggestion, as I hope you noticed. I appreciate the help as this was more an outpouring and that singular feature (title) evaded me. Again, my sincere thanks. Sandra |

Sandra, so much feeling within this poem. Great job of writing...Those fears can be real and hopefully can also be taken away slowly. |

Magnus, I read your work and I envision the hope they will be, taken away that is. But, not all men are as you, such a rarity. |

Amazing, very nice indeed. I love the title, it's perfect. I miss reading your poetry, very refreshing. Cheers - Ed Once you are truly insane, it’s all picnics with Kafka after that. See, it’s the process of going crazy that you gotta worry about. |
