5674 Do I Do 04 September 2006 Do I love you’ do I know Do I do, or does that show Because to never know what love is of that perhaps becoming confused For there was you, and there was me and another along this road of travail While you eyes and your heart were there my own feelings were scattered along the way So can I say I love you when I said that before Can I say it was truly you that my heart and soul adore Not to know your love but just to pause and think Here you and I have grown in the manner of amour to drink Do I love you’ do I know or was it tomorrow and yesterday does show Do I, or do I not, take these feelings and love you even more than not “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4: 7-8 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

Thank you for your comment then since I have written over 5000 poems and more than 850 so far this year I would only say in the case of structure it might be more valuable to tell 90% of the other poets in these threads those words, they might need them more than I do or check out my other few hundred poems on pip, then decide a poet who cares |
