Thoughts composed while sitting alone at the computer on a starry Autumn evening wishing the words would come with apologies to William Wordsorth for the title Sitting bereft, I fidget with my gold watch Not looking Not caring of the time Time that was taken from me By the actions of my soul I sit alone Waiting Watching Wondering Was it me Was it you Was it ever a reality Or just another dream turned against me In a moment of weakness As I sit Pacing the world in my mind My vision becomes blurred As the tears fall freely Washing away the dreams of you Again This was inspired by Dominique-Simone in the request for phrases by our little PdV. Thank you both for the help in kicking my Muse in the... well... for giving me the inspiration. /pip/Forum7/HTML/000670.html You may burn my flag... only after you wrap yourself in it first. |

Absolutely adored by these eyes. This is so in step with my life. It is incredible to read something that has you nodding "yes, that's it exactly". Ok, I'm done now Sandra who apologizes for the ramble, but really does like this alot! |

Hi, Ringo! Well, that must have been some kick that they delivered to your derriere! "Was it ever a reality Or just another dream turned against me" ~ Very memorable lines! I do so understand them!!! Giving you a warm, welcome-back hug, EA |

Brad, I do this so often... "the composing while sitting alone". Some days I force myself to dream or see things differently... just because I need to. Thank you for the kind words you left for me, but it is I, who is learning from you and all the others. M |

Thank you all for reading my little scribble. It is truly appreciated. You may burn my flag... only after you wrap yourself in it first. |

All writers sit and wait for the Muse to come and kick us into gear. Whoever your muse was, I hope you thank them and bow at their feet. Beautifully thought out and easy to follow. And the final thought caught my attention and touched my heart. I hope one day to have a man shed even one tear for me. |
