Soft, The Moment To Flee Retrospect, the long of iron clad worry Surrounded in too pensive fury wears fear Moving heaven and earth for a moment Since then, aspects of sovereignty and bounds Scribble in emotions that erase the fine lines Inaudible, the soul yearns for comfort and meekness Yet love has its magic, sobering and grand the heart Standing firm its ground, circles round the unknown Making wild the refinement of polite conversation Defining intimate in the sculpt of this eternal friend Saying softly the miracle of stay, never to be led away Without promise of seduction or seclusion, least confusion Just a question that leans gently to the trunk for wisdom Hands that listen and understand the tender parts of always True, sometimes to flee, the refugee of moonlit hallways Yet, to know love, is to meet fate with a sword raised high Striking back the ego, in the honor of a perfect and infinite dawn Copyright Kkh 9/26/06 |

Kathy, You are writing brilliantly....Your poems are so strong, yet so delicate... Very nicely done. Even when it is difficult to know what is being given. |

Hands that listen and understand the tender parts of always True, sometimes to flee, the refugee of moonlit hallways Did someone say 'refugee'? lol Even still, beautiful lines. I don't think I see too many couplets like this. |
