Back In Louisville

Every time I eat
concord grapes
I think of my
grandma and her house
back in Louisville.

She had a delicious grapevine
in her backyard and in the summertime
I would eat my fill.

Someday I want to revisit
that place written in my memories,
and perhaps someday I will,
but for now I'll enjoy these concord grapes,
my stomach wanting its fill.

My grandma had a
wonderful swing on
the front porch that
swung me lots of nice
memories.  The house,
the swing, probably a
victim of redevelopment.
