Moon reflects the Sun. It casts the Sun's light upon the many waters that the night surrounds with its blanket of darkness. In the Mind's ear, many hear the Darkness declaring that the Sun has ceased to shine. But, I see it shining... in the lake and river. In the pond and stream. The majestic Ocean and the lowly puddle. Sparkling constellations pulsate with its gentle touch and cluster together to show the glory of the shining Sun. In the Mind's ear, many hear the Darkness declaring that the Lighted ones have gone. But I see them shining... I see the Buddha and the Christ within all that is reflected upon the eye. The majestic and the lowly Even in the moments when reflections appear distorted... I am reminded that there is the One Light... reflected in a world of Fun-House mirrors. |
