My stomach clenches with worry Words flash through my mind Some bring smiles, some tears I wonder when you began to look so frail Last night? Last night when your face collapsed And we cried? Tears burn behind my eyes All I think of is you and I pray In my own weird way I reach out to a Higher Power and pray Wanna make a deal? I ask.
