. The man Keeps no distance from his grief It ‘s a terrible way to be And yet he lives Acting in his way As a memorial to who is lost His white hair Now falls around his ears That hear only mourning In the waves of the sea And we in our play Can only pause Feel fear perhaps sadness Not knowing what to say We then watch him Moving along the shore So all alone Feeling finally there’s nothing We can do . |
