the spin of slippery spit
she is an avon in her evening
jutting the secret itches
bold to the preacher man's eyes

old iron has missed the sins
that writhe black bones to eden
wrong side of silly in street cloth
zippery confusion to the music

the drinker carrys his gold now
one handed in the hurry turn
smokin soot for the watchery
that chirp their high-five ooowies

then follow in mind box obedience
to see if the leather screams when burned
or just slides the sides of curbs
to the off side of unknown travel

voiceless as splendor in the gravel
