Christmas Heavyweight

Something between Geminids
and Quadrantids
must exist,
because I envisioned
such a sight

tonight

On the eve of greatest tide
behind a moon that is lingering
before the star
that is hungering
to bring more to man
than man might know

that there was something between
Geminid and Quadratid

the fling and swing and what may be
something that come what may,
a calendar’d call, but still, they sway
in and out of some circumspect

swift and quick
some magick’d constellation brought
lost silhouettes of woebegone thought
taught
something, something, beyond
my reach…

yet still…

it crosses a breach
to teach, tutor, just one
to glom on to more…
and perhaps, the best of gifts
in this Christmas…..
the reason for spirits to soar!

there is always more, if we learn to recognize it's face...insightful lovely tidings....

What would we do if there were not more?  How would a poet write beauty such as this?
