My own little Icey Oblivion

0 posted 2006-12-21 10:02 PM

Looking at my own reflection,
When suddenly it changes violently it changes,
Broken your servant I kneel,
Slowly my shell begins to peel.
Open yourself to a new revolation,
See things without your mindless corporation,
Madness passes for judgment in a world at a pause,
Meanwhile 'dark' individuals struggle for a cause.
Look in my face stare in my soul,
How do you live without playing the game?
Refuse to acknowledge what is one and the same,
Only in a world so cold,
Could a person never be told.
Look in my face stare in my soul,
I don't want to be the same as you,
All I want to be is individual not to misconstrue,
Your fear awakened all once this is true,
Am I so different from you that it scares you?
Look in my face stare in my soul,
Erasing the bitterness of lables,
Enough with your ignorant fables,
You were wrong to make that judgement a 'fact',
We still have the same bloodlines in tact.
Now if you would just...
Look in my face stare in my soul!
Look in my face stare in my soul!!
LOOK IN MY FACE!!
STARE IN MY SOUL!!
Look in my face stare in my soul.

Madness is the gift that has been given to me

Snowflake,
Well now, you do have intense down. This writing certainly drives home it's point. My mom use to tell me I was different just for the sake of being different. I never believed it.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Nothing wrong with being different. Nothing wrong with looking different. But unfortunately THIS world, or most of it anywat, still judges on appearance. Good write tho kiddo. I like this.
