Every Christmas we long for the past of once was how many can we touch how many touch us: ~ last night the snow was falling beautiful crystals of perfect harmony I thought of you and how you would close your eyes breathe the flutter of wonder and new birth framed by boughs of serenity and peace the faded marks of something still your stillness: reminds me how the sea sleeps and the music remains I have always longed for that quiet to practice letting go but I am lost to the spelling of love when you would bring your Tuesday tenderness in strands of silk for my palms to trace I dream still of your touch beyond the bend of earth to the drops I can no longer hold in spread of wing arise from the roots that blend us indeed holy night where butterflies rest ~~**~~ |

Lauren, Just lovely. It is nice to recall... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |
