             "Does She Think of Me?"

Sometimes as I sit and ponder
quiet thoughts that drift and wander
to and fro and slowly lifting
as if on clouds and softly drifting.

    Before the focus drifts away
I wonder where she is today,
a gentle friend that came to play...
a Spirit from so far away.

Then I recall the things we shared..
        revisited the places where
the words were writ for all to see
        expressed, no less, in poetry.

Again, I wondered at the end..
where is the one that I called Friend..
and, is that soul still flying free...
and does she ever think of me.

The eternal question...
Write on

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Good poem, made me ponder those i've loved and wonder if they still remember what i was like, back then. I have asked the same question before. Nice work.

Tru Thank you for the read and response.

    Draugluin and Interloper.... Exactly.

Nancy, Passing Shadows and TheLady... I do hope so too... yet reality of Mundania has a tendancy to dampen and fog the fire of many a beautiful dream.

Nightshade... dear Lady... Out of sight; too much distance... and time.. all are unkind to the body and the mind... taking their toll until some dreams remain only as a fleeting moment of 'forgotten' memories... and therefore only manifest as a momentary passing faint smile..

RDB... Milady Thank you for your lovely vote of confidence. (Blush)
