Mourn me not and pity less, For joy has brushed her sweet caress. And you not lost from fleeting sight, 'Tis not good bye… but fair good night. So when the leaves sweep past my grave, 'Tis memories held and gladly saved. For if our souls will meet again, Will not be if… but shall be when. And there you stand with beauty much, That heaven known… no beauty such. And glimpsed my earthly soul to keep, Were Angels men… would surely weep. And eternity waits our fate to see, If heavens path will set us free. When lips with longing touch do kiss, No heaven grand… could grant such bliss |
