. A last red tint At dusk Is about to leave The Western sky Trees that line the hills Though which a path passes Are darkly leafless And coated with snow Mother thinks Papa Has gone to Poland Yet is bound To be back soon How good it would be To go in a dream Regardless of realities Then and now . Don't understand how this could have slipped by unremarked, my friend. It's beautiful, though-provoking, full of feeling, and leaves one thinking. jwesley |
