slip past me in the night
ghost uncovered,
wisp of a memory,
touch of ambergris

my skin feels you,
breathes your scent
as you slip past me
in the dark of night

touch my cheek, you did
then hid again
in the light of darkness,
amongst whispered memories

I step around you
twice then thrice,
spin into the wind
yet you bend, follow me

bring me to my knees
in wisp of a memory,
a touch of ambergris,
ghost uncovered

I have no idea what ambergris is but I do know I like this write on many levels. That was nice. Thanks.

Larry, it is natural byproduct of digestion from sperm whales, once used in the perfume industry. Doesn't sound terribly romantic, but think pheromones and other 'attracting' scents, and you'll be on the right track.
