Fingers Crescent

More than I could fit
Upon a page, the lamp is lit
Befitting of Aladdin’s repertoire
Aglow, the highlights dance
Upon the hint of sweet romance
As starlight on my shoulders

Across from me, you read
A comprehensive word to deed
Still warm upon your face
The rush of colors chase away denial
Hypnotic rise, yet lingering exile
Ceasing altogether, trill and tender

I rise, to blow the candle from your eyes again
That moon imparts a smile on pure white skin
In shiver, driven snow then peeks attention
Making love our own invention
Just to melt content with fingers crescent

Wow!

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
