I Lock the Door at Night I feel a sense of strong paranoia. It’s sitting deep in the bottom of my shoes. I heard a sound that rung like a furious slap onto unsuspecting bare skin. This sound made my anus clinch and my lips pucker. I could only stand with a face damned to the South and an anvil up the old pipe. I might as well not bleed the dude, too many red things occupy this world already and at certain times of the day I’d hate to contribute. And I said to the devil, "You better leave my spleen alone." |
