Falling angels cry over their wings
collapse and mingle in hearts weeping,
holding hands to find a peace
that changes the pain to freedoms release.

Falling angels look to the sky above
singing thier memories and loves,
with one little tear they open the door
to find floral landscapes bringing them home.

Falling angels in dust and debris
pray to the wind to its peaceful retreat,
open your wings to be taken on high
remembering the joy of life you have loved.

Falling angels cry over their wings
collapse and mingle in hearts weeping,
holding hands to find a peace
that changes the pain to freedoms release.

The images that your words conveyed in this tragically beautiful piece brought me to tears.

That stanza alone, to me, is as much of a masterpiece as Botticelli's angels themselves.

To thy own self be true
