On a distant shore,
Faraway
Someone cries out.

Beckoning
Away, far too empty,
Alone
“Where are you!?”

“Right here
On a distant shore, Away, far too empty
So Alone
And wondering who you might be.”

I love poetry that circles in on itself. This is well done. I enjoyed the plaintive tone.
