down on the waterside
gurgles lick old wood
kid tongues on splinter candy

and jaunty struts her bow
breast in water mouths
feeding the morning her rhymes

dipping her hem in frothy
slipping the songs of riggings
on a polished mizzen's rigidity

whispering to the dawn
to hurry and warm her charms
lest mandalay knows her craving

for the swollen side of anacapa

This has an old clipper ship feel to it. Can see her there, morning lapping at her begging to be taken out and used. Mornings are wondrous through your eyes. I think though, maybe, I still would like that yacht for about a week or two.

So enjoy the view of the world through your eyes. Morning hugs to you.

maybe i am just in a dancing mood but, this also feels like an early morning jig to me. Also it harkens some mythological images of the graces dancing about.
