we were from the same side of the street just different directions and times stuck at the passing light with our reds and greens confused we both watched the trees and the eyes often went behind them with others just so no one would get a virgin the first time they left us behind and then there was accidental and his suitcase of tricks and treats and a bus station's contemplation where we sat too long not to notice that there was empty in the other's eyes and we each had something broken to offer to the other's broken fix something that would fit by forcing with just enough gentle to hurt it open ______________ daark |

A compassionate write, Poet... and very well done. The peeling off of the layers of understanding go far into the grain of humanity. ![]() |

Dear Dark...Many times we fix ourselves by fixing someone else. I always love the sensitive side of you poems. ![]() |

Truth in poetry is beautiful to find. I can truly relate to this one, because I know I'm never filled unless I'm filling someone else, never completely happy unless I'm giving help...and never unbroken unless I'm binding up someone else's hurt. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
