I arrived
by way of
a road
-paved with bricks
of freedom’s gold-
green eyes reflecting
stars reflecting
the currency of my reach
-I grasped polluted air-
I abandoned
beauty
-of Northern Lights
for smog filled nights-
in Liberty’s name
and now
     now
now I wear blue contacts
my red hair bleached blond

silicon valley/silicon values

Oh Canada

How weary I am
for home

I say be who you are...change your look only if you want to, but not just to fit in.

I know how it is to miss home, I do.
